Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Rabbit Hole is a raw, emotional film about a couple who are dealing with the loss of their young son. The film stars Aaron Eckhart and Nicole Kidman, who was nominated for both a Golden Globe and Academy Award for her performance in this film. Careful to not fall into cliche moments, the film takes place eight months after the death, when the wound of the loss is just beginning to heal. Claudia Puig of USA Today says, “Rabbit Hole is a finely tuned portrait of grief that takes its time unfolding, much like the actual process of mourning.” Rabbit Hole comes out on DVD on Tuesday, April 19.
