Holiday Shopping

giftwrapped.jpg

Although December has just begun, the holiday shopping season is in full swing. One of my favorite sites for technology gift ideas is www.cnet.com. Check their Holiday Gift Ideas and choose from cameras, cell phones, laptops, mp3 players, tvs, and much more. In addition to reviews, they offer product specifications and price comparisons. They are sure to have something for that hard-to-shop-for person!

Kathy Leeds:

Speaking of holiday shopping, many of us do all sorts of buying online. Wise online purchasing includes not only knowing how to find the best bargains, but also how to protect yourself as you shop. Several of the major credit card companies like Visa and the Federal Government offer online protection tips.

Note that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) considers a consumer liable for only the first $50 of fraudulent charges on his or her credit cards. Major credit card companies (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) provide additional Fraud Protection policies, including a $0 liability policy for fraudulent charges.
