Got My First Digital Camera!
I have long been lamenting the fact that I have allowed the digital photography world to pass me by. Although I was very much an amateur 35mm photographer, I was always able to take my own pictures and never had to rely on anyone else to “capture the moment” for me.
When the photography world turned from film to digital, my husband immediately embraced this new technology and made it his own. I let him take our vacation, holiday and family pictures and I am proud to say that our photographic memories are just perfect.
Problems arose however when I needed to take a picture when he was not around. I thought his digital camera was too complicated and my film camera was just too embarassing to use in public. So, I requested a point-and-shoot digital camera of my own and I am now the proud owner of a Panasonic DMC-TZ5. It’s a small camera that easily fits in a purse or pocket and yes, I now have a lot to learn. We purchased the camera on the Internet after comparing prices and found a full review of the camera at dpreview.com.
I can now take both pictures and movies with my new camera and I will share with you all the new things I learn. Now it’s time to go read the manual!
