In my latest Costco Connection magazine, there was an article about DailyLit. This site helps people find the time to read by sending them email installments of roughly 1,000 words at a time (daily, weekdays or on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays).
The idea is to make large works more manageable and less intimidating to readers. I usually like to listen to my books but sometimes I find that the books I want/need to read are not available in audio format so I’m giving this a try. I just subscribed to The Good Soldier by Ford Madox Ford that I am reading for the next Wilton Library Readers group facilitated by Susan Boyar. Most books are free and some have a modest price tag.
We are all so busy and anything that help to make my favorite hobby (reading) easier to accomplish is greatly welcomed!
