In ZDNet.com today, Larry Dignan’s article advises that “HP’s Palm plan forms: Palm Pre 2, webOS 2.0 to debut.” It is good news to hear that HP is not abandoning the Palm platform (which they acquired in April). Key features in webOS 2.0 include: type to start an email or message before opening an app, VPN, improved App catalog. The improved App catalog is an absolute necessity. As a user of the current Palm Pre Plus, the phone is really nice and my only complaint is that it is sorely lacking in the amount of available apps. This is good news!
