Thanks to Amy Jeffries of New Canaan Patch for this one!  There is a Federal program that makes rebates available to people who purchase new qualified Energy Star appliances.  Those appliances must replace older home appliances.  State Senator Toni Boucher is notifying Connecticut residents of this program which is being paid for with Federal stimulus money.  Click here for more information.
