On Monday, September 20, the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, Julius Genachowski, will propose that the “agency expand and formalize rules meant to keep Internet providers from discriminating against certain content flowing over their networks.” This would prevent Internet providers such as Verizon, SBC, Comcast, Cablevision, etc., from “impeding the Internet connections of some customers.” Read The New York Times article here.
