I didn’t realize that Google Mail was down for a period of time yesterday since I use it only when I’m out of the Library.  All appears to be working well today–I was in and out of my account today.  This article from today’s New York Times talks about the outage and gives links to how to find status reports on Google Apps (in case you have problems in the future) and how to access your Google Mail when they are having problems.
