Sometimes, it only seems that things do not happen as they should. On September 18, I wrote about how cable companies in New York City will have to pay fines to customers for not honoring scheduled appointments. Last Wednesday, I had a cable service call scheduled for somewhere between the hours of 2 and 5 pm. At 10 minutes to 2, the serviceman called me to verify that I was home and told me he would see me in ten minutes. At 2 pm, my bell rang. He came in, installed new equipment, verified that it was working properly and left. He was nice and professional. What a wonderful experience!
