This article by Rimma Kats in Mobile Commerce Daily tells us that you can now use your iPhone or Blackberry to pay for your Starbucks in-store purchases.  One less card to carry and easy access to your balance and reloading your card.  A Droid app is in the works; no current plans for Windows.
