Protests in Egypt

January 30th, 2011 · No Comments · News, Websites

Today is Day 6 of the protests in Egypt calling for the resignation of the Hosni Mubarak government. In my Twitter sessions at the Library, I spoke about how one can use Twitter to both send out and follow grassroots information. I have created a Twitter list (@wiltonlibrary/egyptprotests) that you can follow. This list follows the seven people/organizations noted below. Some of the posts are in Arabic but often contain links to pictures. Please note that Twitter can contain postings that may be graphic and this information is uncensored.
