The New York Times reported on April 6 that “a federal appeals court ruled that regulators had limited power over Web traffic under current law.” ISPs (Internet Service Providers) will be allowed to restrict specific sites and/or charge certain sites to deliver their content faster to users.” This ruling can have an adverse effect on government efforts to “increase Americans’ access to high-speed Internet networks.” The article by Edward Wyatt is informative and the court’s ruling is certainly not the end of the “net neutrality” discussion.
