I found this article by Tara Siegel Bernard in The New York Times interesting.  She tried out four types of will-making tools:  Quicken Willmaker Plus 2011, Legacywriter, Legalzoom, and Buildawill.  I find tools like these useful but for something as important as a will, I would use the tools so I could understand the will writing process and use them to formulate good questions that I would then take to an attorney.   Understanding and being part of the process will make for a better final product!
