Yes – school is out for the summer, but soon…well we don’t want to think about that.  To make the transition a little easier, there is a new (free!) software you can use to memorize using flashcards – Anki.  The difference between this and other flashcard type services, is that Anki lets you  download pre-made sets of cards (5000 collegiate Words SAT Vocabulary is an example) and when you “flip” them, you rate them according to difficulty.  The more unsure you are about an answer the sooner the card will reappear for you to study.  You can add your own deck, or browse through others.  So you only study the ones you really need to.  It is compatible with most phones like the Droid and iPhone, but you have to pay (booo).  Now, no more excuses, you can bring your studying with you wherever you go!  Just don’t tell your parents.
