About Wilton

The Town of Wilton is nestled in the Norwalk River Valley in western Connecticut. Wilton was first settled in 1701 as a northern district of Norwalk and was incorporated from Norwalk in 1802. Wilton was a quiet agricultural community for most of its history. Today, Wilton is an affluent residential community within the New York metropolitan area.

Wilton's First Selectman’s office has released an interactive brochure entitled 40 Things We Love About Wilton.  The library is featured as #2! The brochure complements the Economic Development Commission’s recently released residential and commercial videos:
