Wilton Library is pleased to bring you access to downloadable eBooks and Audiobooks through our partnership with Library Connection and OverDrive. Wilton residents with a valid Wilton Library Card will be able to download eBooks and audiobooks without charge to their computers and/or portable devices.
You should log in first when you go to the Library Connection OverDrive site. You will need your Wilton Library Barcode and PIN (the last four digits of your phone number). Choose Wilton Library Association from the drop down list and you are ready to go!
Update from Overdrive: May 22 2013 “Due to a change in Apple’s privacy policies, we’ve had to make changes to the way we handle licensing of EPUB eBooks and MP3 audiobooks. As a result, the OverDrive Media Console for iOS v2.6.5 update will de-authorize every users’ Adobe ID. Upon opening OMC for the first time after the update, users will be prompted to re-authorize.”
Wilton Library patrons may have to re-authorize their device with Adobe Digital Editions. They will be prompted to enter their Adobe username and password.
You may check out up to four titles a time for 21 days, or set your default loan period to 7 or 14 days instead.
You may place up to four holds on titles. When the title is available for you, you will receive instructions by email on checking the title out. It will be held for you for two days after your email notice is sent. In order to check out the title you placed on hold, you must have no more than three titles already checked out.
