Mother Goose on the Loose is a themed story time for children ages 6 months to 2 years.  Children will sing songs, listen to stories, move to music, and learn nursery rhymes.  Felt boards, puppets, instruments, and props will be used.  No fee.

Finished scanning in your photos, but want to learn some basic tips on enhancing them? This introductory session will get you started. For 7th graders - adults and 6th graders accompanied by adults willing to learn, too. Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form.   Please bring the completed form to the session.  Registration required.

4:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Children in grades 1-7 will get beginner chess instruction from Christopher Potts, an instructor, tournament player and US Chess Federation certified tournament director. In this program, brand new players will learn: the history and rules of the game; basic checkmate themes and patterns; basic strategy and tactics. Time will be provided for students to play games and put the classroom lessons into practice.  Call 203-762-6336 for details.

7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Travel consultant Margaret Sanko of Wilton Center Travel and Meghan O’Shea, Sales Development Manager and Joyce Williams, Group Sales Specialist both from Tauck in Wilton, will share their vast knowledge of Cuba. They also will share details of a trip being planned for October 11 – 17, 2018 to benefit Wilton Library. Come prepared with questions.  Supported by Wilton Center Travel and Tauck. Registration is recommended.
