Alan Schwarz will present and sign copies of his highly acclaimed book ADHD Nation. In addition, Anita Chu, MD, Medical Director of Insight Counseling and Elizabeth Jorgensen, consultant to Newport Academy and Director of Insight Counseling will lead a panel discussion on the issue of proper diagnosis of ADHD and other mental health disorders as well as the safe and empirically-based use of medications. Meet, greet, and read with a Wilton Police Officer either in the morning from 10:30 – 11 am or in the afternoon from 4:15 – 4:45 pm. This is a wonderful event for children of all ages to meet and be read to by a police officer! Just drop in. No registration; no fee.

4:00 PM to 5:30 PM

Let us introduce you to our die cutter, the Cricut, and get you started on making your own gift tags, birthday, anniversary or thank you cards and more. For 7th graders to adult and 6th graders accompanied by an adult willing to learn too. Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form.   Space limited to 2 per session. Registration required.

4:15 PM to 4:45 PM
