Join us for a morning of fun activities for the children and get all your questions answered.

No charge; open to the public. No registration necessary. If you have any questions or are a school and would like to participate, please contact the Wilton Moms Club: wiltonmomsclub13@gmail.com. Co-sponsored by the Wilton Moms Club and Wilton Library.

11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

ROAR's (Ridgefield Operation Animal Rescue) Therapy Dog Program will be bringing a therapy dog to be read to by children.  The use of trained therapy dogs in reading programs can result in children who feel comfortable reading out loud, read more often, attempt more difficult books, and look forward to reading. As they improve their literacy skills, they’re not just learning how to read, they’re learning to love to read!  Children must read independently to participate in this program.  No program charge, registration is required.  Register online or call 203-762-6336.

12:00 PM to 2:00 PM

In this one-on-one session, let us introduce you to our electronic embroidery machine and personalize a pillow cover, tea towel, apron, baby’s bib or burp cloth. All items range from $5 to $10 each. For 7th graders to adults and 6th graders accompanied by adults who are willing to learn too. Must have a valid CT library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Registration required. Register online or call 203-762-6342.
