Ask the Medical Experts—Be Your Best You in 2018Thursday, January 25, 2018 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm
In the continuing series “Get Well, Stay Well,” a health and wellness literacy series presented by Wilton Library, Norwalk Hospital, and the Western Connecticut Health Network, this program will allow attendees to meet with four medical professionals individually and privately to ask about any health or wellness issues that are on their minds.
The program is a 'Health Fair' style with separate stations for each of the four medical professionals: Dr. Ruth Christoforetti, MD, a family medicine physician with Western Connecticut Medical Group; Dana Fulton, MSPT, clinical specialist, Outpatient Rehabilitation Services of Norwalk Hospital/Western Connecticut Health Network; Dr. Thomas Ayoub, MD, obstetrician/gynecologist and Chief of the Norwalk Hospital Medical Staff; and Esla Amin-Lewis, a nurse midwife with Norwalk Hospital's Nurse Midwifery Service. After brief opening comments by Wilton Library Trustee and MD Saras Nair, who was previously Chairman of the Pathology Department at Norwalk Hospital, each of our medical professionals will introduce him or herself and then attendees can individually visit one, two, three or all four of the health and wellness info stations.
See library’s registration link for details. No charge for the program. Registration recommended.
