Expansion Project - May/June 2005

Brick work continues. All of the brick will eventually be painted white to match our existing building (which is to receive a new coat of paint as well!)

After being emptied of their contents (relocated in the Reference Area and upstairs in the new space for Wilton History), the History and Music rooms become history themselves.

In just a matter of minutes, the wing is demolished. It soon will become the site of the magnificent Brubeck Room, the jewel in the crown of the Library's expansion.

The Brubeck Room's roof beams begin to soar. A state of the art accoustical design will make the room a perfect venue for concerts, lectures and seminars alike.
