Innovation Station Volunteers

Do you like making things? Working with people? Learning how to use new tools and technology? Sharing your knowledge? If yes, the Innovation Station, Wilton Library’s Maker Space, wants you!

We’re looking for people willing to learn to use a range of high-tech to low-tech tools and materials: a 3D printer, Electronic Sewing Machine, VHS-DVD Converter, Die Cutter, Digital Scanner, Soldering Stations, Photoshop, Manga Studio 5, a drawing tablet, mod-podge, paper crafts and more! If you think you might enjoy staffing drop-in sessions, teaching classes, mentoring others and serving as an Innovation Station ambassador, consider volunteering.

Quick guide to determine if you would be a good match for this opportunity:

  • Enthusiastically agree with the above volunteer description
  • Are 18+ years of age –OR– a 7th-12th grade student
  • Able to commit to an on-going schedule (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly) for a minimum of two hours per session
