Opening of Children's Library

On Monday, July 11 at 10 a.m. the new Children's Library is scheduled to be open for business. The library is inviting the children of the community to join in the celebration of their big, bright, expanded space. The new Children's Library started out as a vision of the Future of the Library committee and it is a "vision" to behold. With much more room for books, DVDs and videos, computers, a separate Story Room and Crafts Room with a moveable wall that can be pushed back to reveal a very large kid-friendly space, nooks and corners for comfy reading, it is definitely a place to celebrate. Families can come join the festivities of the new opening and help "break" the seal into the new Children's Library. For more information, call 762-3950.
