Catch a moment

After the merriment and melee of the holidays, it may be time to relax, reflect and catch a moment. This may be accomplished with the opening artist's reception for the January art exhibition at the library entitled "Moments" by Adele Moros. The exhibition will open on Sunday, Jan. 2 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and features the varied styles and compositions of the area artist and instructor. According to Ms. Moros, "I hope my work brings the viewer a sense of calm and well-being, and that they see something just a little different every time they look at how I've captured too-often fleeting moments in time." Ms. Moros works range from miniatures to murals using watercolors, acrylics and oils. The exhibition runs through Friday, Jan. 27 during library hours which are Mondays and Fridays 10 - 6, Tuesdays through Thursdays 10 - 7, Saturdays 10 - 5 and Sundays 1 - 5. The works are available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the library. For information: 762-3950.

Still others are living the experience through friends and are about to go through the process in the next year or so, yet they all are looking for some guidance. The program is open to teens only and they will be able to address their questions and concerns directly with the Greenes who have helped countless kids in their pursuits of colleges. There is no charge for the program. Pizza will be served funded by the John Curran Memorial Teen Fund. Advance registration is suggested. Advance registration is suggested.
