Children ages 3-5 get to enjoy a special program today from 5:30-6:30 with Pizza Story Time. Kids will munch on Tom-E-Toes pizzas at 5:30 and listen to stories involving pizzas starting at 6. Parents are welcome to join the fun. There is no charge for the program. Call 762-3950 or register online.

People will have a chance to learn great organizing techniques for their professional and personal lives this evening when Jill McKean gives a talk from 7 - 8 p.m. on Seven Steps to Productivity in the Office and Home. While big brother and sister are off at school, children ages 3-5 have some time to develop their creative sides with Art Program for Preschoolers on Friday, September 15 from 10:30-11:30. Illustrator Emma Sutherland will show children how to create crafts using recycled materials. Smocks will be provided. There is no charge for the program. Starting Monday, September 18 through Thursday, November 9 children ages 6 months to give years will enjoy story times on various days and times. Babies are set for Tuesdays from 11 - 11:30; Ones are Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:15 - 10:45; Two are also Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:15-10:45; Threes are Wednesdays from 11:30-noon and Thursday 1-:30; Fours and Fives are Mondays from 2-2:45 and Tuesdays from 3-3:45. The opening artists' reception for Weir Farms' Art Explorers is Monday, September 18 from 6-7:30 p.m. The reception is open to the public. Children ages 6-12 explored nature during the summer and turned the adventure in to artwork. Children discovered new and innovative methods of drawing, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture. The exhibit runs through Friday, October 27. For information: 762-3950.

Popular guest speaker, author and tarot card master Jane Stern returns to the library to share her 40-year fascination with tarot card reading on Tuesday, September 19 from 7-8 p.m. Ms. Stern explores the many myths of tarot cards and their origins. Ben Van Vechten returns on Thursday, September 21 from 10:30-noon with his five-part program, A Short Series on Short Stories (Septe3mber 21, 28, October 5, 12, 19).
