Gift items at the libraryThe library is a good source for holiday gift-giving with many thoughtful things available to purchase. Starting with the holiday book sale cart, items that seemingly have never been used make great gifts such as coffee table art books, shrink-wrapped CDs, books with holiday themes, stocking stuffers and cook books. For the library lover, patrons will be able to buy new merchandise with the library's W logo such as book bags, mouse pads and travel mugs, all sporting the library's new green accent color.
Shoppers also will be able to purchase items from the library's Giving Tree to honor or memorialize a loved one, friend, relative, teacher or associate, or to celebrate an occasion. The tree will be adorned with suggested books, DVDs, CDs and programs. When purchased, the items will then remain in the library's collection, or be added to the wonderful programs that the community gets to enjoy. A personalized gift card will be presented to the patron to give to the honoree or family. Gifts from the Giving Tree are tax deductible.
