Virtual space for teensSince the library's expansion, teens have a great place to call their own with music, books, and DVDs designed for them in a comfy lounge space with computers. The library has expanded that space further by being online in a virtual space. The library's Teen Blog is now open for kids to post their own thoughts and reviews of books they are currently reading, whether they are new releases, popular fiction or classics. The design of the blog is for kids to enter their own opinions, in the style of Amazon.com, so that kids can see what other kids are reading and thinking. For each review published, kids can select a $5 gift certificate to a local ice cream, pizza or coffee shop. At the end of the summer, an even larger prize will be awarded to the teen with the most published reviews. The Teen Blog can be found directly at www.wiltonlibrary.org/ya/blog, or www.wiltonlibrary.org, click on Teens, go to Teen Blog and click on "Check it out." For information: 762-3950.
