Museum pass program

For the first time in many years, the Wilton School District has a February vacation. Along with the library’s scheduled story times and movies during the week, parents and caregivers are reminded that the week can be filled with trips to some of Connecticut’s best museums. From children’s museums such as Discovery Museum and Planetarium, Beardsley Zoo and Stepping Stone Museum for Children to Mystic and Maritime aquariums to art museums such as Aldrich, New Britain Museum of American Art to the Wadsworth Atheneum, the program covers a wide range of interests and age groups. The museum pass program provides free to heavily discounted admissions passes that can be reserved up to one month in advance. On a cold, raw New England day, what better place is there to pass some quality time with friends and family, than a museum? For more information or to reserve passes, call 762-3950.
