- Elderhostel is an educational adventure for older adults looking for something different. The later years should be a time for new beginnings, opportunities and challenges. Elderhostel offers you a way to keep expanding your horizons with people who are interested in the same things you are.
- Genealogy Online
- The Emcee Internet Directory Provides links to genealogical collections, software and vendors as well as to other resources often sought after by genealogists, such as libraries, universities, historical collections, government and more. This site includes as well a significant number of links to similar WWW resources.
- National Senior Service Corps
- The National Senior Service Corps (Senior Corps) is a network of federally-supported programs that helps people age 55 and older find service opportunities in their home communities. The Senior Corps involves seniors in three types of service:
- The Foster Grandparents Program offers support to children with special needs;
- Senior Companions provide assistance to help elderly individuals live independently;
- Retired and Senior Volunteers tend to a variety of services that range from leading local museum tours to teaching adult education computer classes.
- On-Call Vacations
- A program for travelers who want to enjoy great savings on cruise, hotel and resort vacations. If you're age 55 or over and a member of United Airlines' Silver Wings PlusŪ, you can become a member of On-Call Vacations.
- Oasis
- OASIS is a unique educational program for mature adults who want to continue to grow, learn and be productive during the best years of their lives.
- Senior Summer School
- Senior Summer School provides some wonderful alternatives to a typical hot summer at home at some of the best cities and universities in the country, at what you will acknowledge to be a very modest cost. The Senior Summer School, Inc. program is designed for independent, active and healthy seniors, who want to get a feel for today's college life.
