Community Service and Art
Wednesday, July 8, 9:30 am-3:15 pm
Teens, ages 13 and up, spend a morning doing community service at Weir Farm National Historic Site. Participants will assist with the woodland edge management project and help clear a field. After a lunch break, every teen will be given an art pack and spend time sketching scenes around the farm. Finished pictures will be placed on exhibit at the Wilton Library. Transportation provided from Trackside. Buses leave at 9:30 am and return at 2:45 pm. Please bring a bag lunch and a blanket. Wear sturdy walking shoes and long pants. Gloves are provided.
