Holiday Book Sale - November 30, 2017 - January 3, 2018
The Library's holiday Book Sale in the gallery is a seasonal delight where bargains can be found - featuring a large array of pristine books, DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks suitable for gift-giving to all ages. This year, the sale includes a diverse collection of classical, jazz, Latin and blues CDs. All CDs are priced to sell, many are new shrink-wrapped items. All merchandise is perfect for holiday gift-giving. As items are sold, new ones appear daily. All sales support the library.
Sale opens at noon on November 30 and continues during regular library hours through January 3, 2018. Library closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
Gigantic Spring Book Sale Fundraiser – April 21 - 24, 2018
Our largest sale features more than 70,000 items sorted in more than 50 categories – mysteries, gardening, travel, and science fiction; gently used, collectible, rare books, DVDs, CDs, books on CD.
Early Buyers with $15 admission on Saturday, April 21 from 7 to 9 am. Sale is free to public from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, Sunday, April 22 from noon to 5 pm, Monday April 23 from 10 am to 5 pm books half-price, and Tuesday April 24, 10 am to 4 pm ($5 bag day).
Sidewalk Book Sale – July 21, 2018
On the Library lawn
Coinciding with Wilton's town Sidewalk Sale and Street Fair, this sale is located out in front of the Library and specializes in great summer "reads" and selections for all ages.
Hours are 10 am to 4 pm.
Awesome Autumn Book Sale – September 22, 23, 24, and 25, 2018
Everyone is covered in this fundraiser – from tots to teens in the Brubeck Room with selections from board books and picture books to young adult novels; to a full Book Cellar featuring a large assortment of items including bestsellers, fiction and nonfiction and categories such as mysteries, gardening, travel, biographies and more; gently used, new, collectible, rare books, and DVDs. For music lovers, the sale boasts more than 1,100 classical, jazz and Latin CDs and close to 100 classical DVDs, with more than 30% of them brand new and still shrink-wrapped. For vinyl enthusiasts, more than 400 records in pop culture music are offered. All the music is priced to sell. Everything is new since our April sale. Proceeds benefit library.
Early buyers with $5 admission on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 9 to 10 am. Sale is free to public from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, Sunday, Sept. 23 from 1 to 5 pm and Monday, Sept. 24 from 10 am to 5 pm (All items half price on Monday) and Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 10 am to 4 pm ($5 per bag; bags supplied by the library) .
