If you are already operating a domestic business, you are in a good position to launch an international one. Areas of interest: how to identify and evaluate online marketplaces, foreighn distributors and foreign partnerships; pros and cons of mthods of doing business internationally; lessons from a case study.
Speaker Dorcia Carrillo is an alumna of Loyola College - Maryland and Quinnipiac University School of Law. Dorcia began her career in international trade for a Fortune 50 defense contractor where she drafted and reviewed hundreds of export authorization requests that were adjudicated by the Departments of State and Commerce. She currently manages her own law practice in New York and lives with her husband in Norwalk, Connecticut where she is a member of the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce.
