The Freedom Fries will be playing for us here at the Wilton Library this Thursday night from 8-9:30 PM. If the weather is good we will open up the courtyard and enjoy the August air, refreshments will be provided. Good music, free food, what what more could you ask for on a summer night?

This summer we’re looking for teens to contribute to our blog. We’re hoping for editorial reviews of the books you are currently reading – new releases, popular or classics. We want it all!
Use your own opinions for the reviews – just like on Amazon.com – so we know what YOU really think! For each review we publish, you can select a $5.00 gift certificate to a local ice cream, pizza or coffee shop. At the end of the summer we’ll award a larger prize to the person with the most published reviews. We haven’t yet decided what the prize will be, but we promise you’ll like it!

Get the lady bugs to merge by using the mouse to direct them to run at each other. Starts easy, but gets harder as you go! A fun commentary accompanies, but it is in Japanese so I'm not sure what they are really saying but it sounds pretty cute.
A new study has measured just low long cats can remember certain kinds of information—10 minutes.
The research was designed primarily to compare cats' working memory of their recent movements with their visual memories, and found that cats remember better with their bodies than their eyes when they have encountered an object placed in their path by say, an annoying owner or experimenter.
