That just next door in Ridgefield CT, the school board in 1972 banned this book, Boss: Richard J. Daley of Chicago by Mike Royko from the high school reading list, claiming it "downgrades police departments.. I haven't looked to see if they are carrying it now, but I can tell you that we are if you want to come check it out and celebrate Banned Books Week here at the Wilton Library.
