Created and maintained by a mixed-blood Mohawk urban Indian (formerly a librarian for 14 years at the University of Pittsburgh) and Social Sciences Subject Editor for anthropology, history, and sociology at CHOICE MAGAZINE.

Provides information on Native North American authors with bibliographies of their published works, biographical information, and links to online resources including interviews, online texts and tribal websites. Currently the website primarily contains information on contemporary Native American authors, although some historical authors are represented.

It features articles, stories, maps, biographies, video clips, teaching resources, and more. Searchable, or browsable by topics such as government, land claims, literature, and reindeer herding. Crazy Horse Memorial

The goals of this organization include "the mountain carving [of Crazy Horse, and] the Indian Museum of North America." The site features articles and photos documenting the sculpture-in-progress located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, including a chronology, a biography of memorial sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski (who died in 1982), and other information about the mountain carving. Also provides information about museum exhibits.

National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI)

This portion of the Smithsonian Institution located in New York, Maryland, and, as of September 2004, Washington, D.C., "is the only national museum dedicated to the Native peoples of North, South, and Central America." The site features numerous online exhibitions on subjects such as ancient Mexican art, basketry, and works of contemporary artists. Also includes information about the collection and the NMAI outreach and education programs, and images of the three museums. Searchable.
