Educational Resources for All Ages

AtoZ World Culture:  In-depth information on Culture & Society; Food & Recipes; Language Video Dictionary; Royalty-free Maps; Royalty-free Images; National Symbols; Music; Education for 175 countries.

HelpNow: HelpNow is an online homework help resource for students of all ages. Live tutoring is available in English and Spanish from 2pm - 11pm each day to provide assistance in core subjects, including mathematics, science, social studies, and English language arts. Students may submit papers to HelpNow’s Writing Lab for expert assistance and feedback, or collaborate with peers in virtual study spaces. All tutors have Bachelor degrees, have been fully vetted and trained by parent company, Brainfuse. Great for students in K-12 (especially during COVID) and also for basic college courses (e.g.; Calculus).  Help is available for high school (e.g.; ISEE) and college entrance exams (e.g.; ACT, SAT, PSAT). An Adult Learning component is included and it offers assistance on completing the FAFSA form, GED, TOEFL, US Citizenship, Grad School exams (e.g.; GRE & GMAT), Nursing school exams, resume writing and Microsoft Office support.

History Reference Center:  Full text of 74,600 primary source documents, 630,900 full-text records, 81,300+ biographies of historical figures, nearly 2,000 full-text reference books, encyclopedias and non-fiction books, 41,500+ images, including maps and historical photos, and 80+ hours of historical video.

Middle Search Plus:   For middle school students, full text for magazines, biographies and historical essays, as well as primary source documents, reference books and a vast image collection.

Nonfiction Book Collection–High School: For high school students, informative abstracts and searchable full text for 2,700+ nonfiction titles on careers, health, life skills, ethnicity, disabilities, adventure, sports, technology, biographies, music, science, history, civics, and more. 

Nonfiction Book Collection–Middle Schools:  For middle school students, informative abstracts and searchable full text for 3,200+ nonfiction titles on careers, health, life skills, ethnicity, disabilities, adventure, sports, technology, biographies, history, science, women, civics, and more.

Primary Search:  For elementary school students, full-text of 80+ magazines, as well as Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia, The Encyclopedia of Animals, and American Heritage Children’s Dictionary.

TOPICsearch:  Explore current events, social, political and economic issues, scientific discoveries and other popular topics frequently discussed in the classroom.
