Using the concept of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) a member of the Children's Library staff will facilitate a different activity every Tuesday through June 7 to allow children to explore, create, innovate, design, imagine and just have a lot of fun! At 3:45 on the day of the program, tickets for that afternoon's program will be handed out on a first-come-first-serve basis at the Children's Reference Desk. Space is limited. Mother's Day Cards- using a variety of tools and techniques, create one-of-a-kind cards just in time for Mother's Day. Programs are open to children in 1st through 5th grades.  Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a caregiver. Children under 12 must have a caregiver in the building. Supported by the Amadeo Family. 

Attendees will gain an overview of the franchise process from a consultant and panel of successful local franchisees who will discuss their own experiences. Speakers include: Luc DesLauriers - franchise consultant and owner of FranNet CT & RI, Cliff Ennico - Franchise Attorney, and Tim Randall - Owner of Right at Home of Fairfield. No charge.

New to the world of 3D printing? Wondering what all the buzz is about? If so, join us to for an introductory session on how to use our 3D printer, the MakerBot Replicator 2X.  Afterwards, you can sign up for an individual session and make your own 3D object. For 7th graders - adult and 6th grade students accompanied by an adult willing to learn too! Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Space limited to 8 students. Registration required; no charge.

In this one-on-one session, let us introduce you to our electronic sewing machine and embroider or monogram a chef's apron for the barbeque season. $7 fee payable upon arrival. For 7th graders to adults and 6th graders accompanied by adults who are willing to learn too.. Must have a valid CT library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Registration required.

Bring your wonderful baby to this infant friendly program at the Wilton Library. We will sing and play and enjoy gentle stories geared for babies under 12 months old. This is an excellent forum to meet other new parents in the area. No registration, no fee. Caregivers must be present.
