Welcome to Wilton Library


This program is a sharing time for 1 and 2 year-olds and their caregivers. The emphasis is on books, with some songs and toy time. No registration, no program fee.

Drop in and use our materials to decorate bottles, create magnets, make jewelry and more. While supplies last.For teens entering grade 6-12. Sponsored by John & Patricia Curran Teen Fund.

Children entering 3rd, 4th and 5th grades can come to Wilton Library to learn computer science and programming using’s online tutorials as well as instructor-led “unplugged” activities. Week 4 Unplugged Activity: Relay Programming.  This activity will begin with a short review of Graph Paper Programming from week 1, then will quickly move to a race against the clock, as students break into teams and work together to create a program, one instruction at a time. Supported by the Amadeo Family.

Let us introduce you to our electronic sewing machine and embroider or monogram a baby's bib.  For ages 13-113 and students entering 6th & 7th grades with an adult.  Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement form.  Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Space limited to 3 students per session.  Registration required. 

New this Summer! Wilton Library Readers' professional book discussion leader Susan Boyar will discuss six short stories published in The New Yorker magazine over six consecutive weeks. Each Wednesday's meeting will discuss the previous week’s story. The story for this week is Silk Brocade by Tessa Hadley. The current issue of The New Yorker is available in the Reading Room for in-library use, or download it through Zinio or OverDrive.


Escape the Ordinary, Adult Summer Reading 2015

Beginning July 6 you can be a part of Wilton Library’s adult summer reading program. List each book you read this summer (July 1 - August 16) and be automatically entered into a weekly drawing for a Wilton Chamber of Commerce gift certificate good at participating merchants.

For more fun, write a brief review that will be shared with other participants. Need help registering? Stop by and ask the librarian at the reference desk any time or call 203-762-3950 x211 for more details.

6/15/15:  ReQuest (Statewide Catalog) will shut down
Fall 2015:  New Statewide Catalog will be brought online
ILL Service will continue to be available throughout this transition!
