Holiday Book Sale

Tuesday, Nov. 26 through Monday, Dec. 23
Mondays through Thursdays, 10 – 8; Fridays 10 – 6; Saturdays, 10 – 5, Sundays 1- 5

The library’s holiday book sale in the gallery is a seasonal delight. Bargains can be found – most of the items are new or like-new condition, making a terrific opportunity for holiday gift-giving. Items include books, unopened CDs and DVDs, children’s books and a huge assortment of art books. As items are sold, new ones appear daily, thanks to the hard-working book sale volunteers, who always seem to have an un-ending supply of tantalizing offerings.   All sales support the library.

Sale opens at noon on Nov. 26 and continues during regular library hours through Dec. 23. Library closed Thursday, Nov. 28 for Thanksgiving.


Teen Gingerbread Houses

Thursday, Dec. 5, 4 – 5 p.m.
Teens in grade 6-12 bring your imagination and decorating skills to create one of a kind gingerbread houses which will be distributed throughout the community. Enjoy refreshments and the music of the season. Registration required, space is limited. Sponsored by the John and Patricia Curran Teen Fund.



Rainbow Loom® Club

Thursday, Dec. 5, 12 & 19, 4 – 5 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 6, 13 & 20  4 – 5 p.m.

Swing by the Wilton Library and enjoy some loopy fun. In this hour long session, kids share their knowledge and enthusiasm for the exciting new craft of Rainbow Loom! Bring your own loom and make a bracelet. Whatever level of looming you are on, you can share what you know, or learn from a teammate. Kids teach kids in a fun, freeform, instructional program. Some rubber bands will be provided but supplies are limited. Grades 1 and up. Caregivers should stay in the building. Sponsored by the Coyle Family Young Readers Fund.


Wilton Holiday Walk

Friday, Dec. 6, 5 – 7 p.m.
Wilton Library takes part in the annual Wilton Holiday Walk and provides refreshments, a warm, inviting fire in the fireplace and shelter from a cold, winter night. This year, River Road Gallery has its opening reception for the December exhibition at the library during the Holiday Walk. A little something for everyone.
