Welcome to Wilton Library

New this Summer! Wilton Library Readers' professional book discussion leader Susan Boyar will discuss six short stories published in The New Yorker magazine over six consecutive weeks. Each Wednesday's meeting will discuss the previous week’s story.   The story for this week is Five Arrows by Heinz Insu Fenkl. The current issue of The New Yorker is available in the Reading Room for in-library use, or download it through Zinio or OverDrive.

This program discusses where animals live and what kind of weather/climates they live best in. We will see Stickers the tree frog from the rain forest, Tickles the hedgehog and how he hibernates in cold weather, and why Cheeks the chinchilla never likes the rain! There will also be a GIANT weather balloon that kids can look at and learn about!   Supported by the Amadeo Family. Registration required, children going into grades 1 and up.

Try out some fun, simple STEM projects. On two Wednesdays in July (7/8 & 7/29) and two in August (8/5 & 8/12) we'll be working with LEDs, motors, soldering equipment and more. Sign up for one or all sessions.  For students entering grades 7-12. Registration required. Must have a signed Innovation Station Agreement Form. Sponsored by the Amadeo Family Fund.

Learn Tinkercad and then design your own 3D bookmark, coaster, luggage tag or coin holder.  Add your initials or a symbol to make it unique.  Afterwards, schedule a one-on-one 3D session to print your creation. For ages 13-113. Must have a valid CT library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement form. Please bring the complete form to the workshop.  Space limited to 8 students. Registration required

Join us for music and lyrics from the Great American Songbook.  Performed by high school students Will Comer and Ben Senneff. Admission is free. Registration recommended.
