StorytimeTerrific Tales for Twos and Threes

Tuesday, Jan. 7 through Tuesday, March 18, 10:15 – 10:45 a.m.
Join Wilton Library for 2 and 3-year old story time.  Children and their caregivers will sing songs, listen to stories, and enjoy playtime together while building literacy and social skills. This program runs for 11 weeks.

Senior Center Book Discussion: A Tree Grows in Brooklyn

Tuesday, Jan. 28, 11 a.m. – noon.
Karen Tatarka will lead a discussion of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith.  Featured by the New York Public Library as ‘One of the books of the Century,’ this novel remains a beloved classic half a century after it was first published. Group meets 4th Tuesday of each month through May (no meeting in December).  Call the Senior Center for details and to register at 203-834-6240. Comstock Community Center, 180 School Road, Wilton.

StorytimeLook, Listen and Learn

Tuesday, Jan. 7 through Tuesday, March 18, 11 – 11:30 a.m.
For 3 and 4 year-olds with caregivers. By interacting with stories, singing songs and acting out finger plays and rhymes, children in this program gain pre-reading skills and learn how to participate in a group setting. This program runs for 11 weeks.

Literary Littles

Tuesday, Jan. 7 through Tuesday, March 18, 2:15 – 3:00 p.m. For independent listeners ages 4 – 6 years. This is a story time that provides children with experiences that enrich early literacy.
