Mother Goose on the Loose

Mother Goose on the Loose is a themed story time for children ages 6 months to 2 years old. Children will sing songs, listen to stories, move to music, and learn nursery rhymes. Mother Goose on the Loose is a research-based program intended to help infants and toddlers develop early literacy skills in an active and fun environment. Felt boards, puppets, instruments, and props will be used.

Please note-in an effort to create a small, consistent group experience, this program uses a lottery system for registration. Lottery registration forms are available at the Children’s Library desk starting March 17, 2014 and must be returned by April 7, 2014. Patrons will be notified via email if they receive a spot.


Ben Van Vechten Seminar: Literary Half-and-Half

Thursday, May 15 and Friday, May 16 , 10:30 – noon.
Ben Van Vechten returns to the Wilton Library for a special 2-day seminar entitled Literary Half-and-Half on May 15 and 16. Copies of the selections will be available at the front desk before the seminar begins. This program is made possible through the generosity of an anonymous donor. Advance registration is required.
