Wilton Library Summer Reading Program Registration Week
Tuesday, June 17 through Friday, June 20
Kids can register all summer long for the summer reading program. They will receive prizes for every 10 books or 500 pages they read. The last day for logging summer reading to receive regular prizes is Saturday, Aug. 23. Last day to reach the goal of 60 books/3000 pages and be included in the Awards Ceremony is Friday, Aug. 15. The theme for the summer reading program is Mythical, Magical Summer Reading.

Teen Summer Reading
Friday, June 20 through Friday, August 15th
The Teen Summer Reading Program is underway now, and ends on Friday August 15th. Weekly, teens entering grades 6-12 can access EVANCED, the online program to record the number of pages read. There will be a weekly drawing for $10 gift certificates. The end-of-summer grand prize will be a $100 AmEx Gift Card. For more details, stop by Teen Services or call 203-762-3950, ext. 243.

Wednesday, June 4, 11, 18 & 25, 4 – 5 p.m.
Kids in grades K and up are invited to join this weekly Lego® Club. Each session will be based on a new theme such as castles, vehicles, towers and more. Children will learn about the theme through stories and non-fiction books and then create a Lego® masterpiece from the library’s Lego® collection. There are 20 spots available for this program on a first come, first served basis each week. Tickets will be passed out at the Children’s reference desk starting at 3:45 p.m. the day of the program. Grab Bag Book Club
Wednesday, June 18, 4 – 4:45 p.m.
Come and discuss a brand new bestselling children’s book! The book for June will be Timmy Failure: Now Look What You’ve Done by Stephan Pastis. Healthy snacks will be provided as well as a book-related activity. Registration required. Grades 3 and up. Parents and guardians must be in the building.
