In keeping with Wilton Library’s summer reading theme of Mythology, the first week of this program is about Norse Mythology. Wolves are mentioned often in these myths; an example is Geri and Freki, who were the wolves that accompanied Odin, chief of the Norse Gods. To celebrate the Norse myths, the library welcomes back Atka the wolf from the Wolf Conservation Center. Wolves play an important role in the environment and teachers from the conservation center will share some facts about their importance. Sponsored by the Coyle Family Young Readers Fund. Space is limited to Grades K and up with caregivers. Registration is required, and each person must be registered separately.
