Welcome to Wilton Library
Works by six composer-members of Connecticut Composers, Elizabeth Austin, Allen Brings, Juliana Hall, Daniel Morel, Margaret Collins Stoop, and Nancy Tucker will be performed. Pre-registrants should arrive by 4:50 to be guaranteed seating; wait-listed and walk-in registrants will be admitted after 4:50 if space is available.
Children ages 0-5 and their caregivers are invited to join a fun time of moving, grooving, jumping, shaking, singing and playing instruments. A great Monday morning work-out! No registration required. (No session May 30)
In the this one-on-one session, let us introduce you to our electronic sewing machine and monogram a tea towel, apron, baby bib or burp cloth. Aprons available for $7. All other items are $5. For 7th graders to adults and 6th graders accompanied by adults who are willing to learn too. Must have a valid CT library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Registration required.
Weekly drop-in for knitters and crocheters. Make new friends, get tips and share ideas while working on your own projects. New to stitching but want to give it a try? We have needles and yarn for you to test out. No registration required.
Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to Wilton Library’s monthly Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meeting. TAB is a group of teens who work with the library by helping select materials for the teen collection, planning teen events, and more. Your help allows us to make the library better for you and your friends. Newcomers always welcome! If this is your first time coming to TAB, please fill out an application (can be accessed online) and bring it with you. Applications will also be available at the meeting. Passport to Wilton and beyond…
Your library card opens the world to you through books, audio books, music CDs and DVDs. Now let your library card open the doors of Connecticut libraries by participating in the Passport to Connecticut Libraries Program! From April 1 through April 30, the Passport to Connecticut Libraries Program invites you to visit any of the 124 participating Connecticut libraries. Pick up your Passport at Wilton Library, we’ll stamp it and give you a token gift, then you can visit five or more of the libraries on the program list to be eligible for a Visa gift card ($150 for an adult; $100 for a child).
