With the help of an instructor and Code Studio by Code.org, students will work at their own pace to learn about algorithms for computers and basic steps to create art and animation. This program is open to children ages 9 through 11 with some or no coding experience.  Registration required. Supported by the Amadeo Family.

In the this one-on-one session, let us introduce you to our electronic sewing machine and monogram a tea towel, apron, baby bib or burp cloth. Aprons available for $7. All other items are $5. For 7th graders to adults and 6th graders accompanied by adults who are willing to learn too. Must have a valid CT library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Registration required.

Children ages 2 – 6 years and their caregivers will have so much fun in this extremely interactive and easy-to-follow Latin-inspired Zumba Kids class. Music is like magic to children. Now add this with rhythms of other countries and they will instantly come alive as soon as the music starts. It’s a fabulous way for them to release all kinds of energy and channel it in a creative and positive way. It's referred to as exercise in disguise. Parents/adults please join the fun! Registration required; no fee.  Sponsored by the Coyle Family Young Readers Fund.

Children in grades K and up are invited to join this weekly Garden Club!  Throughout the spring, summer, and fall we will plan, plant, tend, and eat fruits and vegetables in our raised-bed garden. This is a fun activity for the whole family!  Supported by the Amadeo Family.

Registration Filled.

Kids ages 8 and up are invited to join Wilton Library’s Minecraft Computer Club. A server for Fairfield County has been set up with a virtual world where the Minecraft community in Wilton can meet and the club welcomes the enthusiasts. Please note: Minecraft is a subscription-based, online game. Players must bring their own laptop and create their own account. Handheld devices are not recommended because they run a Minecraft app that does not work with the same server. To be added to the Fairfield County server you must visit the Children’s Desk with a valid library card to be registered. Caretakers must sign in their child with staff member. If the child is not present and signed in by 10:10, the place may be given to a waitlisted child. Caretakers must remain in the building. Registration required; no fee.
