Drop-in and celebrate Spring by decorating eggs in the Innovation Station. Learn a new method for decorating eggs using colorful silk ties. Take home the finished eggs to use for decorations. $5 fee per person, payable upon arrival. No registration required, but only available while supplies last. For students in 7th grade or older and adults.

In this one-on-one session, let us introduce you to our electronic embroidery machine and personalize a tea towel. $5 per towel payable upon arrival.

For 7th graders to adults and 6th graders accompanied by adults who are willing to learn too. Must have a valid CT library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Registration required. Register online or call 203-762-6342.

The Baby Signs® Program continues to teach caregivers and children from 6 months of age to the toddler stage signs for everyday activities so they can communicate before the child can speak fluently.  Each workshop session focuses on one everyday activity. The signs are learned through activities, songs, and a book.  Every participant will go home with a handout.  There are 3 remaining workshop programs.   Please register for each session separately.  Ages 6 mos. to toddlers with caregivers. Weekly drop-in for knitters and crocheters. Make new friends, get tips and share ideas while working on your own projects. New to stitching but want to give it a try? We have needles and yarn for you to test out. No registration required.

March brings Martha Wakefield to the Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence program. Wakefield is a mixed-media artist who explores love, loss, and what remains. She examines the theme of vessels or containers, delving deeply into a structure that 'holds' possessions, value, or stories. See registration link for details.
